Bajaj Auto on Monday announced a 5% year-on-year increase in its total vehicle wholesales, which include exports, amounting to 3,58,477 units for the month of June.
According to a company statement, the Pune-based automaker had sold 3,40,981 two-wheelers and commercial vehicles in June 2023.
Domestic sales, including commercial vehicles, experienced an 8% rise, reaching 2,16,451 units as compared to 1,99,983 units sold in the same month last year.
Exports for the month saw a modest 1% rise, hitting 1,42,026 units up from 1,40,998 units year-over-year.
Stock market reactions were positive, as shares of Bajaj Auto were trading 1.06% higher at Rs 9,600 apiece on the BSE.
