According to the latest survey conducted by The Office Pass (TOP), over 80 per cent of the workforce in SMEs, corporates, and other enterprises across Delhi-NCR prefer flexible working locations instead of traditional offices. This shift is attributed to the need to adapt to changing climatic conditions.

Named 'Hot Summer@Work 2024,' the survey reveals that 35 per cent of respondents preferred to work in the office 2-3 times a week, reflecting a balanced approach between office and home. Another 26 per cent leaned towards working from home more frequently, while 24 per cent preferred operating from a café or co-working space near their residence.

Only 16 per cent showed a preference for working exclusively from the office. The survey, which saw the participation of over 1,000 employees, was aimed at understanding the behavioral changes employees adopt to remain comfortable during summer months. 'The findings are a clear indicator that there is a need to adapt to the changing climatic conditions and also find simple solutions to the day-to-day brewing challenges,' said Aditya Verma, Founder & CEO, TOP.

The survey also indicated that comfort is a priority for employees, with 63 per cent opting for smart casuals and 31 per cent for super casuals. White emerged as the most preferred color for office attire during summer, followed by blue, beige, and grey.
