In a display of extraordinary courage and resilience, two women officers aboard the Indian Naval Sailing Vessel 'Tarini' are being celebrated for their remarkable journey as part of the Navika Sagar Parikrama II expedition.
On New Year's Eve, Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, along with NWWA President Shashi Tripathi, interacted with the sailors, Lt Cdr Dilna and Lt Cdr Roopa, via video link, lauding their indomitable spirit and dedication.
Their ongoing expedition from Fremantle, Australia, to Lyttelton, New Zealand, encapsulates the adventurous spirit of the Indian Navy and acts as a source of inspiration for the youth worldwide, officials report.
