Tragic Cylinder Blast Claims Five Lives in Bulandshahr

In a tragic incident that unfolded in the Sikandrabad area of Bulandshahr district, a cylinder blast claimed the lives of five individuals on Monday. The explosion led to part of a house collapsing, leaving several people trapped under the rubble, police confirmed.

According to Additional Director General of Police, Dhruva Kant Thakur, the blast transpired in a residence where 19 individuals lived. As emergency services engage in rescue operations, eight people have been successfully extricated and transported to a medical facility. However, some of the recovered individuals are in critical condition.

Authorities have deployed gas cutters to dismantle iron beams and use excavators to clear the debris. Meanwhile, police are urging the public to keep away from the site to avoid disrupting rescue efforts.
