Veteran Jonty Sidhu's first-class century propelled Delhi to a narrow first-innings advantage, after Chattisgarh posted 343. The final day saw Chattisgarh at 179/6 in 60 overs when captains Amandeep Khare and Himmat Singh opted for a draw.

Saini's early wickets inflicted pressure, but Ajay Mandal's resilient face helped Chattisgarh save the match. Despite opportunities, Delhi couldn't force a victory, concluding with Khare and Bhupen Lalwani securing the draw.
