FIFA World Cup 2018: Poulinho and Tiago Silva make sure Brazil reach round of 16

Brazil played against Serbia in an important match of Group E. While Serbia needed to win the match quality in the next round, a draw would have been enough for Brazil. Goals from Paulinho and defender Tiago Silva made the score 2-0 for Brazil against Serbia.
Brazil had a setback in the starting minutes of the game, right back Marcelo walked off the pitch with an injury. Filipe Luis came in for injured Marcelo.
Neymar, Willian, and Phillippe Coutinho were stars of every Brazilian move in the match. With Neymar's presence made Brazil dangerous every time they attacked from the left wing. Brazil’s continuous presence outside the opponent’s box paid off in the 35th minute. A masterclass pass from Coutinho found Paulinho, who lobbed the ball over Vladimir Stojkovic and made the score 1-0. Brazil was up 1-0 in the 35th minutes of the game.
The second half started brightly for Serbia, they keep pressing and testing Brazilian defense. While on the other side of the pitch Neymar was in the mood to showcase his footwork as he did whenever he had some space. In the 68th minutes, Neymar won a corner for Brazil. His corner kick met Tiago silva’s header and Brazil was up 2-0 in the game.
After the second goal, it became difficult for Serbia to come back in the match. While Serbia was Struggling to find the back of the net, Neymar was missing his chances to put his name on the scoresheet and he was continuously denied by Serbia's goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic. Till the end of the match, the score remained 2-0 for Brazil.

The unlikely goals from Tiago Silva and Paulinho put Brazil through to the round of 16. In their knockout stage match, they will face Mexico. Switzerland is the other team from Group E, who is through to the round of 16 along with Brazil, Switzerland beat Costa Rica 2-1 in their last group match. In their round of 16 matches, Switzerland will face Sweden.
