FIFA World Cup 2018: Colombia breaks Poland’s heart with 3-0 scoreline
The match ended 3-0 for Colombia, and they will face Nigeria in the last and Vital match of Group H.
Poland faced Colombia in their second Group H match. Before the start of the match, both the teams knew that winners of the match will increase its chances to qualify for the next round. The draw between Japan and Senegal played an important role in this match. The result of that match left the group wide open and increased the intensity of Poland versus Colombia match.
The Colombian fans made Kazan as homely as they can for the Colombian team. And the Colombian players did not disappoint their traveling fans, they played a dominating game and got better of Poland from the first minutes of the match. Colombia had more possession and pass around the Polish Players confidently. Their continuous attack finally paid off in the 40th minute, an inviting cross from James Rodriguez meets a brilliant Yarry Mina header and made the score 1-0 for Colombia.
The first half of the match was all Colombia, they showed that they are hungrier to qualify in the next round. James Rodriguez became the center of Colombia’s creative force making key passes for his team. Even in the second half Colombian team was more dangerous in attack than the Polish team. It was clearly visible in Robert Lewandowski’s face, that he was waiting for one key pass from his teammates to change the scoreline. In the 60th he got a chance to score but his shot was denied by David Ospina.
In the 70th minutes in a superb through ball from Juan Quintero in between the two Polish defenders find Radamel Falcao who made no mistake and put the back of the net. Colombia was 2-0 up against Poland. In the 75th minutes, James Rodriguez’s through ball found Cuadrado in no man’s land, who had Wojciech Szczesny in one on one situation in front of him. Juan Cuadrado's shot past Wojciech Szczesny and made the scoreline 3-0 for Colombia.

After the 3rd goal, there was no coming back for Poland as they are out of the round of 16 qualifications. The match ended 3-0 for Colombia, and they will face Nigeria in the last and Vital match of Group H. Poland will face Japan in their last match, which will be an important match for Japan.
