Xiaomi officially launched today Android One-powered smartphone Mi A3, latest under its Mi-A series, in India. The phone will go on sale exclusively at Amazon India, Mi Home, and mi.com on August 23 at 12 PM and will soon be available at other Mi Stores, partner stores and other offline channels. Combining the best of Google and Xiaomi features and innovations, the Mi A3 offers complete smartphone experience.

The full body of the Xiaomi Mi A3, including the camera modules, is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and P2i technology to protect the phone against humidity, accidental splashes and spills. As expected, the Xiaomi Mi A3 is decently-priced with smart camera experience and three color options: Kind of Gray, Not just Blue and More than White.

Mi A3 specifications

Xiaomi Mi A3 sports a 6.08-inch (15.46cm) HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) resolution AMOLED Dot Drop display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a waterdrop-style notch. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 AIE coupled with Adreno 610 GPU, giving you a superior gaming and browsing experience and 11nm technology to save power for uninterrupted work and play.

It features a 32-megapixel AI selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture for stunning shots and AI smart triple rear camera set up that includes a 48MP high-resolution primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 118° ultra-wide 8MP secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 also features new in-screen fingerprint optical sensing technology to unlock the smartphone under any situation and AI Face Unlock to provide a secure unlocking experience. The phone is available in two variants: 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage option and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot which supports storage expansion up to 256GB. It is equipped with an in-built 4,030 mAh high-capacity battery, which also supports 18W fast charging and Quick Charge 3.0 Technology.

Xiaomi's H1 2019 revenue stood at RMB 95.7B (INR 95,700 Cr), a strong 20. 2 percent growth as compared to the previous year period. With a growth of 49.8 percent YoY, the company's net profit stood at RMB 5.7B (INR 5,700 Cr). Xiaomi is currently the world’s fourth-largest smartphone brand and ranks no.1 in India.
