In a groundbreaking initiative, Atul Auto has announced a strategic partnership with Exponent Energy, a TDK Ventures-backed entity, to create and deploy swift-charging electric three-wheelers in India. The duo aims to roll out 15,000 of these vehicles over the next three years, revolutionizing urban mobility.

The integration will feature Exponent Energy's cutting-edge OTO platform, which includes battery technology, powertrain systems, and vehicle software. Notably, Exponent has developed technology that charges batteries in a mere 15 minutes, making it the world's fastest for commercial vehicles. Additionally, the platform is compatible with standard charging infrastructure, enhancing user convenience.

The collaboration not only promises rapid charging but also includes financing solutions and embedded insurance, aiming to break down barriers to electric vehicle ownership. Exponent Energy's CEO, Arun Vinayak, highlighted the mission to make electric vehicles a more feasible choice, underlining innovations in speed and accessibility.
