Bharti Airtel has climbed to the second spot globally among telecom operators with an impressive 650 million subscribers, as revealed by GSMA data on Thursday.
The telecom giant, operating extensively across India and Africa, is committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation, reliability, and customer experience, according to Executive Vice Chairman Gopal Vittal.
Airtel's strategy includes partnering with Eutelsat OneWeb and SpaceX to bridge the digital divide using a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites, enhancing broadband connectivity in remote maritime, aviation, and rural areas.
