FSB Alleges Ukrainian Espionage Under RAND Corp Disguise

Russia's FSB accused Ukrainian spy agencies of posing as staff from U.S. non-profit RAND Corp to recruit Russians and gather military intelligence. RAND is considered undesirable in Russia. Both RAND and Ukraine have not provided immediate comments.

In a bold accusation, Russia's FSB security service has claimed that Ukrainian intelligence agencies are masquerading as employees of the U.S. think tank RAND Corporation. The alleged operation aims to recruit Russian citizens and acquire sensitive military information.

The state news agency RIA reported that Ukrainian recruiters, under the guise of RAND, have been trying to gather intelligence related to Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. This revelation has added further tension to the already strained relations between the two nations.

RAND Corporation has been banned in Russia, labeled as an "undesirable organization." As of now, neither RAND nor Ukrainian officials have issued a comment in response to these serious allegations.
