The Instahyre Tech Salary Index 2025, informed by data from over 42,000 candidate profiles and 11,000 recruiter-candidate interactions, reveals a dynamic evolution in salaries and job roles, particularly in AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. Roles in these areas are projected to see a 75% increase, spurred by the growing adoption of emerging technologies.

As companies pivot to technology-driven business models, approximately 40% of the workforce will require upskilling to remain competitive. Geographic talent hotspots like Bangalore, Delhi-NCR, and tier-2 cities such as Chandigarh and Indore are emerging as new tech hubs, powered by the rising trend of remote work and gig economies.
