The Defense Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) is pioneering efforts to fulfill the increasing demand for skilled professionals in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity within India. By offering Online Training and Certification Courses (OTCC), they aim to bolster the nation's self-reliance in these critical sectors.

To date, DIAT's Department of Computer Science & Engineering has successfully certified over 2400 participants through multiple batches. Starting April 2025, DIAT will launch a new 12-week course on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, available to students, professionals, and graduates via a free online test.

As a research university linked with the Ministry of Defence, DIAT's specialized programs aim to support India's defense services with advanced technological training, fostering indigenous solutions and strengthening the nation's technological capabilities.
