Scheduled for production in early 2025, the model signifies a deepening partnership aimed at promoting a carbon-neutral society through shared electrified vehicle platforms.

Suzuki Motor Corporation and Toyota Motor Corporation are expanding their collaboration with the development of a new battery electric vehicle (BEV) SUV model. The vehicle is slated for production at Suzuki Motor Gujarat in early 2025, marking a significant step in their joint efforts toward electrification.
Maruti Suzuki India plans to release the same model next year, showcasing Suzuki's 58 percent stake in the company. Suzuki's President, Toshihiro Suzuki, emphasized the deeper collaboration with Toyota in addressing social issues like climate change through a multifaceted approach.
Toyota President Koji Sato highlighted leveraging the BEV unit and platform developed with Daihatsu to offer diverse options for a carbon-neutral future. The partnership, rooted in Shizuoka Prefecture, includes mutual vehicle supply and has expanded globally, notably into India, Europe, and beyond.
