In a significant move to boost electric vehicle production in India, Atul Greentech, a subsidiary of Atul Auto, announced its latest partnership with Exide Energy Solutions (EESL) for the supply of lithium-ion batteries.
The agreement enables Atul Greentech to source battery packs from EESL's facility in Prantij, Gujarat, with future cell supplies coming from EESL's Bangalore plant, as highlighted in an official statement.
This collaboration not only aims to enhance India's self-reliance in EV production but also reflects a shared commitment to a sustainable and innovative future within the electric mobility sector.
