Himachal Pradesh is gearing up for a significant digital transformation, as it plans to expand its e-services from the current 275 to 300 next year, according to Gokul Butail, Principal Advisor, Information Technology and Innovation to the Chief Minister.
These e-services, which include registering complaints online and applying for certificates, are part of the government's efforts to streamline operations and improve public access. Launching a new digital helpline, Butail highlighted the state's ambition to outpace Southern states in IT-enabled services.
The digital helpline, designed for government offices and officials, will help in resolving service-related issues more efficiently. This initiative, which began with the introduction of e-Vidhan, positions Himachal as a leader in digital governance, paving the way for other states to follow.
