Tata Technologies and BMW Group have officially launched their joint venture, BMW TechWorks India, to spearhead innovation in automotive software, particularly software-defined vehicles (SDV) and digital business solutions.
The joint venture, established on a 50:50 basis, is set to begin operations with 100 employees in Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai. As it scales, the venture aims to employ a four-digit workforce by 2025, highlighting its commitment to tapping into India's top engineering talent pool.
This collaboration underscores both Tata Technologies' expertise and BMW Group's ambition to transform the automotive industry. It aims to enhance BMW's digital experience globally, focusing on next-gen vehicles and automated driving, alongside core business process efficiency through AI applications.
