HDFC ERGO Unveils TechPreneur Day: A New Era of Insurtech Innovation

HDFC ERGO General Insurance, in collaboration with BCG, Google, and HEIITB, unveiled the inaugural TechPreneur Day, aimed at fostering innovation in the Indian insurance sector. Seven startups participated in the finale on September 25, 2024, with winners Zyla Health, Z-Score, and Amnic securing paid Proof-of-Concept opportunities.

HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company, a prominent player in India's private sector insurance market, presented the first TechPreneur Day, aimed at driving innovation within the industry.

With support from BCG, Google, and HEIITB, the event shortlisted seven startups from 140+ entries, highlighting innovations in AI, claims processing, fraud detection, and customer experience.

The winners, Zyla Health, Z-Score, and Amnic, will develop Proof-of-Concepts with HDFC ERGO, a move that underscores the company's commitment to enhancing its digital-first approach and fostering insurtech advancements.
