PMI's latest research revealed an 86% increase in AI tool adoption among project professionals since January 2024. Notably, two out of five surveyed professionals now use AI tools in over half of their projects. This trend underscores the necessity for project managers to continue learning and experimenting with AI technologies to stay relevant in the evolving landscape.
The conference, themed 'Master Your Future Today in Rapidly Emerging Trends & Economies,' provided actionable insights and best practices for leveraging AI. Among the significant announcements was PMI's acquisition of Cognilytica and the integration of its certifications and learning products into PMI's offerings. Additionally, PMI unveiled upgrades to PMI Infinity™, its AI assistant now powered by GPT-4o (omni), which promises enhanced productivity and workflow optimization.
The event also featured the debut of the PMI Construction Professional certification (PMI-CP)™, aimed at equipping industry professionals with the skills needed to thrive in the dynamic infrastructure sector.
