Cognizant to Launch Techfin Centre in Gujarat's GIFT City

Global tech firm Cognizant has announced plans to establish a new 'techfin centre' at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) in Gandhinagar, aiming to launch by February 2025.
The facility will serve as a strategic hub for providing advanced technology solutions in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sectors, beginning with 500 associates and scaling to 2,000 employees within three years.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel praised the new centre as evidence of the state's ability to attract world-class enterprises and support innovation. "GIFT City's modern infrastructure, business-friendly policies, and strategic location are turning it into a global financial and technology hub," he said. Cognizant emphasized its commitment to partnering with the Government of Gujarat to foster sustainable growth and enhance its delivery capabilities across India.
