The Kremlin on Monday addressed a Reuters report revealing Iran's Revolutionary Guards primarily utilize homemade, Russian, or Chinese communication devices. Moscow confirmed that trade links with Tehran were progressing.
An Iranian security official disclosed to Reuters that concerns over possible Israeli infiltration had intensified following deadly pager attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon earlier this month. This has prompted a thorough inspection of all communication devices used by the Revolutionary Guards.
As tensions rise, the Iranian government is taking extensive measures to ensure their communication systems are secure from foreign espionage.
