Zoho Corp Unveils Semiconductor Plans and New Tech Innovations at Annual Conference

During Zoho Corp's annual user conference, Co-Founder and CEO Sridhar Vembu unveiled the company's plans to invest in a semiconductor venture, submitting an application to the government for approval. The project is currently undergoing a thorough evaluation on various technological and partnership fronts.
In addition to semiconductor ventures, Zoho launched a seller application on the ONDC network aimed at enhancing e-commerce for MSMEs, as well as the Zoho IoT platform for custom Internet of Things solutions.
Zoho is also investing heavily in AI, developing multiple language models for integration across its product suite. The company recorded a 31% customer growth in 2023 in India and continues to prioritize data sovereignty and GDPR compliance by expanding its global data center footprint.
