Iran Launches Second Satellite Amidst Accusations
Iran launched a research satellite into orbit with a rocket built by the Revolutionary Guards. This follows accusations from the US and Europe that Iran is transferring ballistic missiles to Russia for use in the war with Ukraine, allegations Iran denies.
Iran has successfully launched its second research satellite of the year into orbit, according to state media reports. The satellite was propelled by a rocket constructed by the Revolutionary Guards.
This development occurs amid heightened tensions, as the United States and European nations accuse Iran of supplying ballistic missiles to Russia. These missiles, they claim, are likely intended for deployment in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine within weeks.
Iran, however, has vehemently denied any involvement in transferring such weaponry to Russia.
