The White House has expressed its interest in resolving the ongoing strike involving 30,000 U.S. West Coast factory workers. The workers, represented by the International Association of Machinists, are in negotiations with Boeing for a new contract.
Robyn Patterson of the White House stated, "We encourage them to negotiate in good faith — toward an agreement that gives employees the benefits they deserve and makes the company stronger."
The administration remains hopeful that a resolution can be reached that is beneficial for both the employees and the corporation.
