Indian Startups Thriving in AWS Global Generative AI Accelerator Program

AWS has announced that seven generative AI startups from India have been selected for its global Generative AI Accelerator Program. These startups, part of an 80-company cohort, will receive AWS credits, mentorship, and education to advance their AI and machine learning technologies as part of AWS's $230 million global initiative.

Amazon Web Services on Friday announced the selection of seven generative AI startups from India for its global Generative AI Accelerator Program. The Indian startups Convrse, House of Models, Neural Garage, Orbo.ai, Phot.ai, Unscript AI, and Zocket are among 80 companies chosen worldwide for their innovative AI applications and global growth potential, the company said in a release.

The Indian cohort represents the highest number of selected startups from a single country in the Asia-Pacific region. This initiative is part of AWS's $230 million commitment to fostering the creation of AI-driven applications globally. The program offers early-stage startups AWS credits, mentorship, and educational support to help advance their AI and machine learning technologies.

According to AWS, the selected startups will gain access to their computing, storage, and database technologies, including the energy-efficient AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia2 AI chips, designed to deliver high performance at a reduced cost.
