Toshiba Electronic Components Taiwan Corporation (Toshiba) has unveiled the Mx11 family of helium-sealed high-capacity HDDs, marking another milestone in its storage technology innovations.
The Mx11 family includes the MG11 Series, which can offer capacities of up to 24TB using conventional magnetic recording (CMR), and the MA11 Series that boasts capacities of up to 28TB with shingled magnetic recording (SMR). These HDDs are specifically designed to help customers manage operational costs while handling substantial data growth.
Built with innovative flux control microwave-assisted magnetic recording (FC-MAMR™) technology, the Mx11 lineup offers top-notch performance and reliability 24/7. It caters to cloud, data center, and enterprise storage needs, encouraging higher densities within existing infrastructures and enhancing cost efficiency.
