Tech giant Apple is set to create a buzz on Monday with its eagerly awaited 'It's Glowtime' event, where the new iPhone 16 lineup and other exciting updates will be revealed. Here's what to expect, based on insights from The Verge.

The centerpiece of the event will be the introduction of the iPhone 16 series, which is said to be the most powerful and feature-rich iteration to date. All models will incorporate Apple Intelligence, marking a major advancement in AI integration. The 'glowtime' moniker reportedly refers to the glowing screen edges visible when Siri is activated in the latest iOS 18 betas.

Notably, the iPhone 16 will feature new processors designed to bolster AI capabilities. The rumored A18 chip will replace the A17 Pro chip in the iPhone 15 Pro models, providing enhanced performance. A redesigned camera, with vertically stacked lenses, aims to improve landscape spatial video capture for use with the Vision Pro. Battery life is also set for an upgrade.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are expected to share identical camera systems, including a 5x 'tetraprism' telephoto lens. New colors like rose and bronze titanium will be available, and display sizes will increase to 6.3 inches for the Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max.

Additionally, Apple is likely to introduce the Apple Watch Series 10 (or X), featuring a slimmer case and larger screen options tailored for athletes. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 will come in black, and a plastic Apple Watch SE is on the horizon. The AirPods lineup will see new models, potentially including a USB-C version of the AirPods Max with adaptive audio and better noise cancellation.

While the focus remains on the iPhone, The Verge hints that Apple might also showcase a new Mac Mini, roughly the size of an Apple TV, at this or a future event.

The 'It's Glowtime' event promises a slew of new products and features, making it a notable occasion for Apple enthusiasts.
