Pralhad Joshi Champions Startup Involvement in Green Hydrogen Sector at Upcoming ICGH-2024
New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi underscored the importance of involving startups in the green hydrogen sector to foster innovation. Addressing the 2nd International Conference on Green Hydrogen India 2024, Joshi highlighted various initiatives like hackathons and youth sessions aimed at engaging young minds. The event, slated for September 11-13, 2024 in Delhi, anticipates over 6,000 registrations and 120+ exhibitors.

New and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi emphasized the critical role startups must play in the burgeoning green hydrogen sector, urging for fresh ideas and youth involvement.
Speaking at the curtain raiser for the 2nd International Conference on Green Hydrogen India 2024, scheduled for September 11-13 in Delhi, Joshi announced that over 120 exhibitors would participate in the event. The government has earmarked Rs 19,744 crore for the green hydrogen mission to further its agenda.
Joshi revealed that, following the success of the first edition of the International Conference on Green Hydrogen, the second edition promises to be even larger, targeting 6,000-plus registrations from scientists and stakeholders worldwide. Features like a Green Hydrogen Hackathon (GH2THON), youth sessions, competitions, and a CEOs' Roundtable aim to stimulate innovation and dialogue in the industry. The event partners include Ficci and the Solar Energy Corporation of India.
