Freshworks Appoints Murali Swaminathan as CTO

Nasdaq-listed Freshworks has appointed Murali Swaminathan as its Chief Technology Officer with immediate effect, the company announced on Tuesday.

Swaminathan is set to join the executive management team and will report directly to CEO and President, Dennis Woodside.

Before this role, Swaminathan served as Vice-President of Engineering at software firm ServiceNow, where he oversaw information technology service management and strategic portfolio, according to Freshworks' statement.

CEO Woodside cited Swaminathan's extensive experience and leadership in software engineering as instrumental in driving Freshworks' commitment to delivering impactful AI investments and high-quality products for mid-market and enterprise customers.

Bringing over 30 years of software engineering expertise, Swaminathan is expected to significantly enhance Freshworks' technological capabilities and growth strategy.
