Infosys has commenced the onboarding formalities for engineering graduates from the 2022 batch, according to sources. Many candidates have been notified about joining dates and terms of the offer.

The IT union Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) claims over 1,000 campus hires have received appointment letters from Infosys, although the company has not issued an official statement. An email sent to Infosys for confirmation went unanswered.

Sources revealed that the onboarding process will begin around late September or October. Infosys CEO Salil Parekh assured that all offers extended to freshers would be honored, despite changes in dates. In an interview with PTI, Parekh confirmed the company's commitment to onboarding all hires. NITES President Harpreet Singh Saluja stated that the union remains vigilant and may organize protests if commitments are not met. NITES had previously filed a complaint against Infosys for delays in onboarding 2,000 graduates.
