Telecom operator Bharti Airtel, along with technology partners MediaTek and Nokia, has achieved a remarkable upload speed of 300 megabits per second (Mbps) on a 5G network during a recent trial, according to a joint statement released on Monday.

The trial combined the use of various mid-band spectrums and state-of-the-art chipset technology to achieve the record speed, setting a new benchmark for 5G network performance. Conducted at Airtel's tech lab, the trial showcases Airtel's dedication to providing innovative solutions for the growing demands of global connectivity.

Bharti Airtel's Chief Technology Officer, Randeep Sekhon, emphasized that the trial not only highlights their commitment to enhancing network infrastructure but also promises greatly improved upload speeds and connectivity. MediaTek played a crucial role in the achievement with its Dimensity 5G mobile platform, while Nokia supplied equipment from its 5G AirScale radio portfolio.
