Google has unveiled a groundbreaking feature for Gmail on Android: Gmail Q&A, which harnesses the capabilities of Gemini to revolutionize how users search their inboxes, reports GSM Arena.
This cutting-edge feature enables users to interact directly with Gemini via their Gmail app, simplifying the process of finding and managing email content through straightforward queries.
Previously available only through the Gemini side panel on the web, this functionality is now extended to mobile devices. To use it, users can tap the black Gemini star icon at the Gmail app's top right or select the 'summarize this email' chip.
The rollout is expected to be completed in 15 days, benefiting all eligible users. Notably, a Google One AI Premium subscription, or a Gemini Business, Enterprise, or Education plan is required to access Gmail Q&A.
This feature is set to launch on iOS soon, making it accessible to a broader audience. By integrating advanced AI capabilities, Gmail Q&A aims to significantly enhance user experience.
Gemini's sophisticated search and summarization tools could make managing and navigating through emails much simpler.
