In a bold move to enhance its AI and cloud capabilities, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani revealed that Jio users will soon enjoy up to 100 GB of free cloud storage. Addressing the 47th AGM of RIL, Ambani announced the Jio AI-Cloud Welcome offer, set to launch during Diwali, providing an affordable cloud storage and AI services solution for everyone.
'Jio's mission is to ensure that AI is not a luxury,' said Ambani, highlighting the need for AI services to be available across all devices. He introduced the concept of Connected Intelligence, emphasizing the importance of ample and secure cloud data storage to enable AI-driven personalized services.
The event also saw announcements from Akash Ambani, who introduced the advanced audio assistant 'Hello Jio' and the JioPhonecall AI service. These innovations will enhance user interactions with Jio's TV and Set-Top Box services. Additionally, new AI-ready data centers in Jamnagar will cement India's position as a leader in affordable AI applications, all powered by Reliance's green energy initiatives.
