Genus Power Secures Rs 4,469 Crore Smart Meter Projects

Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd announced that its subsidiary has received letters of award for smart meter projects worth Rs 4,469.04 crore. The projects involve designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning advanced metering infrastructure systems and meters, including energy accounting on a DBFOOT basis.

Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd has announced that its subsidiary secured letters of award for smart meter projects totalling Rs 4,469.04 crore.

The three LOAs were received by Genus Power's wholly-owned arm. Although the project's entity name was not disclosed, the company confirmed that these awards include designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning an advanced metering infrastructure system.

The project also encompasses the installation of 5.59 million smart prepaid meters, including system meters and DT meters, complete with energy accounting on a Design-Build Finance-Own-Operate-Transfer (DBFOOT) basis.
