Indian space startups have signed agreements with an Australian platform to work on in-orbit satellite refuelling and provide AI model testing opportunities for students. HEX20 and Indian startups OrbitAid and TakeMe2Space formalized these collaborations during the 17th Australian Space Forum in Adelaide.

The Indian delegation, led by IN-SPACe officials Vinod Kumar and Shashank Saxena, included representatives from various companies like Agnikul Cosmos, Dhruva Space, and Skyroot Aerospace.

The Memoranda of Understanding detail that HEX20 and OrbitAid will jointly develop in-orbit satellite refuelling technologies, while HEX20 will leverage TakeMe2Space's AI modules and subsystems. The initiatives are expected to enhance ties between India and Australia in the space sector.
