Advancing Healthcare Innovations: IIT Kanpur Partners with Boehringer Ingelheim India

SIIC, IIT Kanpur's technology business incubator, has partnered with Boehringer Ingelheim India to foster healthcare innovations. Boehringer is supporting startups like Manastik Technologies and Lenek Technologies in developing tele-neurorehabilitation and advanced TB screening solutions. This collaboration aims to create a robust ecosystem for impactful medical technologies in India.

The Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) at IIT Kanpur has formed a strategic partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim India, a premier global pharmaceutical company. This collaboration aims to foster groundbreaking healthcare innovations.

Supported by a grant from Boehringer Ingelheim, Manastik Technologies, an SIIC-incubated startup, is developing India's first tele-neurorehabilitation application for dementia care and diagnosis. The app utilizes advanced technology to offer personalized care for dementia patients, orchestrated by expert healthcare professionals. Manastik aims to validate the app and raise awareness about dementia through nationwide campaigns.

Additionally, Boehringer Ingelheim is backing Lenek Technologies, another SIIC-incubated startup, focusing on eradicating Tuberculosis (TB) with a novel handheld X-ray device designed to improve TB screening in resource-limited areas.
