Zen Technologies, in collaboration with its subsidiary AI Turing Technologies, has introduced a new suite of AI-powered defence solutions for the global market, the company announced on Monday.

Among the products unveiled is Prahasta, an automated quadruped robot utilizing LiDAR and reinforcement learning for real-time 3D terrain mapping. This enables superior mission planning, navigation, and threat assessment.

Additionally, the firm launched the Hawkeye anti-drone system, Barbarik-URCWS remote-controlled weapon station, and Sthir Stab 640 stabilized sight, designed for armoured vehicles and boats. These innovations signify a leap in autonomous defence operations, promoting the integration of advanced robotics in combat and reconnaissance.

Zen Technologies' Chairman and Managing Director, Ashok Atluri, emphasizes that these self-funded products will expand the company's cutting-edge offerings for both current and prospective clients. The Hyderabad-based firm touts the Barbarik-URCWS as the world's lightest remote-controlled weapon station, enhancing battlefield effectiveness with precise targeting capabilities while minimizing personnel risk.

Shares of Zen Technologies closed at Rs 1,362.00 on the BSE on Monday, marking a 5% rise from the previous close.
