Lando Norris, the reigning Formula One world champion, clinched pole position for the Miami Grand Prix sprint race on Saturday.
He delivered a commendable lap time of one minute 27.869 seconds at the Hard Rock Stadium, edging out Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli to prevent a McLaren lockout on the front row.
McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc will occupy the second row, setting the stage for an exciting main race on Sunday, marking the fourth round of the season.
