In a strategic move ahead of the upcoming World Cup, Saudi Arabia has tapped Greek coach Georgios Donis to guide its national football team until July 2027. This decision comes as Donis replaces former coach Herve Renard.
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation confirmed Donis's appointment via X, following the resolution of Renard's contract. The 56-year-old Donis brings a wealth of experience, having coached European teams such as AEK Athens and PAOK.
