Pioneering Partnership: Lovlina Boxing Academy Teams Up with Bharat Centre for Sports Excellence

Assam's Lovlina Boxing Academy (LBA) has teamed up with the Bharat Centre for Olympic Research and Education (BCORE) at Rashtriya Raksha University in Gujarat. This collaboration aims to integrate sports science, analytics, and athlete wellbeing into India's high-performance sporting ecosystem, officials announced.
The partnership heralds a strategic effort to advance sports research, scientific training, and enhanced coaching methodologies, as highlighted by Tokyo Olympic medalist and academy founder, Lovlina Borgohain. Focus areas include applications of sports science, performance analytics, and modernised high-performance frameworks, as outlined in the MoU's terms.
During a recent visit, an LBA delegation engaged with Gujarat Police to discuss collaboration opportunities in athlete safety and sports initiatives. Prof Bimal N Patel, RRU Vice-Chancellor, emphasized the alignment of the academy's mission with RRU's national goals for excellence in sports through interdisciplinary research.
