The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) and the Adani Group are set to transform the golfing landscape in India with the announcement of the Adani Invitational Golf Championship 2025. This strategic partnership marks the Adani Group's significant entry into Indian professional golf.

The collaboration aims to enhance the sport's accessibility and status, and to cultivate future global golfing champions from India. The initiative underscores the growing importance of sports other than cricket, as highlighted by PGTI president and former cricketer Kapil Dev.

The inaugural tournament, with a prize of Rs1.5 crore, is scheduled for April 2025 at the Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort, Greater Noida. Additionally, a joint Adani-PGTI golf training academy will be established to support grassroots development and align with India's 2036 Olympic aspirations.
