The Adani Group is set to make a significant leap into Indian professional golf with the announcement of the 'Adani Invitational Golf Championship 2025'. In partnership with the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the event aims to widen golf's appeal and nurture future Indian golf champions, according to the group's press release.

Scheduled for April 1-4, 2025, at the Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort in Greater Noida, the championship will reintroduce PGTI to the venue after more than a decade, featuring a lucrative Rs1.5 crore prize. Pranav Adani, Director of Adani Enterprises Limited, emphasized the company's commitment to enhancing the accessibility of the sport, envisioning the development of Indian talent in global golf arenas.

Golfing legend and PGTI President Kapil Dev expressed gratitude to the Adani Group for their support, predicting that the partnership would help cultivate international-level Indian golfers. PGTI CEO Amandeep Johl lauded the event as a defining moment for the Tour, highlighting the opportunity for increased participation and the anticipated excitement surrounding the prestigious event.
