West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach is set to bolster Surrey's ranks for the fifth consecutive season in County Championship cricket. According to ESPNcricinfo, Roach has inked an agreement to participate in the first four rounds, bringing his formidable prowess back to the reigning champions.
Roach's outstanding performance record includes 93 wickets at an average of 25.60 in 28 matches, contributing significantly to Surrey's three consecutive title wins. His return is eagerly anticipated for the season opener against Essex next Friday, as well as subsequent matches against Hampshire, Sussex, and Somerset.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Roach described The Kia Oval as his 'second home,' lauding the leadership of Alec Stewart, Gareth Batty, and Rory Burns.
