Indian wrestler Manisha Bhanwala has kept her gold medal hopes alive at the Asian Championship. Competing in the women's 62kg category, she showcased technical prowess, advancing to the finals after defeating Kazakhstan's Tynys Dubek and Korea's Hanbit Lee.

In the semifinals, Bhanwala's victory was marked by a commanding 5-1 win against Kalmira Bilimbek Kyzy. Now, she faces Korea's Ok J Kim for a shot at her first-ever Asian Championship title.

Antim Panghal, also in action, struggled in the 53kg semifinal against Japan's Moe Kiyooka, ultimately aiming for bronze. After winning in the quarterfinals against China's Jin Zhang, Panghal's performance fell short amid the formidable defensive strategies of Kiyooka.
