The Pro Panja League held an exhilarating armwrestling event on the banks of the Narmada River in Badwani, Madhya Pradesh, in collaboration with Manoj Patel and the Barwani District Association. Competitors clashed in five distinct categories amid enthusiastic support, as revealed by the People's ArmWrestling Federation India press release.

Thursday's event was officially opened by special guest MLA Rajendra Mandloi, with chief guest Shephali Tiwari, Central Jail Superintendent Narsinghpur, in attendance. Co-Founder of Pro Panja League, Parvinn Dabass, together with Preeti Jhangiani, President of PAFI, were also prominent figures at the event. Prior to the intense matchups, the organizers conducted a traditional 'puja' ceremony, seeking blessings for success at this sacred venue.

The competition kicked off with the 60kg category, where Sachin Tomar triumphed over Shoaib Akhthar with a 3-0 victory. Asha Kumar narrowly defeated Kritika Bamel 3-2 in the 65+ kg category, while Manish Kumar emerged victorious against Sunil Anthony, also 3-2, in the 100+ kg category. In the specially abled category, Devendra Yadav secured a decisive 3-0 win over Manoj Patel. Additionally, renowned champion Jogendra Yadav clinched a dominant 3-0 win against Divakar Jadon in the 75kg category.

Pro Panja League Co-Founder Parvinn Dabass expressed his excitement about hosting the event in Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing that it served as both a sporting and cultural celebration. He highlighted the league's commitment to discovering new locales across Bharat, offering a platform for emerging talent. Similarly, Preeti Jhangiani underscored the significance of expanding the sport nationwide, which has seen substantial growth in both athlete and fan participation through events like this.
