The formalization of this venture took place in London, witnessed by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The MoU marks a strategic collaboration aimed at scouting and developing football talent across India, with the academy being named Man City Football School.
Expressing her satisfaction with the collaboration, Banerjee, on an investment-seeking visit to London for West Bengal, emphasized the opportunities this partnership would offer to young aspirants beyond the state.
