In a stunning performance at the Khelo India Para Games, Uttar Pradesh's Akash claimed the gold medal in the mixed 50m pistol SH1 category. Emerging from the competition as a victor, Akash edged out Tamil Nadu's Sanjeev Kumar, showcasing his skill with a final score of 15.7.
The event concluded with Rajasthan dominating the medals table, securing nine medals, including four gold. The competition saw Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra following close behind. With the games ongoing, Haryana continues to lead the overall tally with an impressive 95 medals.
