Valencia's Circuit Ricardo Tormo has secured the hosting rights for the MotoGP Grand Prix until 2031, according to a statement released by the motorcycle racing organization. This new five-year contract extension solidifies Valencia's position as the beloved finale of the MotoGP season.
Known for its lively atmosphere and dedicated fan base, the Valencia GP has consistently garnered acclaim, taking home the 'Best Grand Prix' award multiple times. 'The track is unique with the view it offers, and the fans create an incredible atmosphere,' noted Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of MotoGP rights holder Dorna Sports.
Despite the challenges posed by a devastating flood in 2024, which led to the cancellation of that year's event, the circuit emerged resilient, emphasizing the commitment to bring world-class racing back to the region. The current MotoGP season will climax at the Valencia GP on Nov. 16.
