Gaganjeet Bhullar: Eyeing a Trophy at Home
Indian golfer Gaganjeet Bhullar, who turned professional in 2006, has won 11 Asian Tour titles and one DP World Tour title. With hopes of clinching a significant victory in India, Bhullar is eager to maximize his remaining career years while focusing on nurturing upcoming Indian golfing talent.
Veteran Indian golfer Gaganjeet Bhullar, with an impressive career spanning nearly two decades, is determined to add more titles to his name. The golfer, who has claimed 11 Asian Tour victories and the prestigious Fiji International in 2018, believes he has another seven to eight years of competitive golf ahead.
Bhullar aims to secure a major win on home soil, notably at the Hero Indian Open, where he has previously struggled to clinch the title. Despite his success overseas, he is yet to win a marquee event in India, which remains a significant goal for him.
Recognizing the potential of emerging Indian golfers like Veer Ahlawat, Bhullar emphasizes the importance of nurturing young talent in the country. He is optimistic about the next generation of Indian golfers making their mark on the international stage in the coming years.
