The Italian league is set to introduce in-stadium announcements to clarify video review decisions made by referees, especially their conversations with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR). This trial will occur in the remaining matches of the Italian Cup, marking a significant move towards transparency.

The new system will be tested during the semifinals, featuring Inter Milan against AC Milan and Bologna versus Empoli. Scheduled over two legs, the final will take place on May 14. This initiative mirrors practices already adopted in England and Germany, as well as in other team sports like NFL and MLB.

In addition to announcements, VAR graphics will be displayed on giant screens in stadiums, a feature already utilized in television broadcasts. This weekend's Serie A fixtures will be the inaugural stage for these changes.
